I wrote a post like this in Autumn as part of #blogtober, so I thought it was only right to write another one for Spring! Spring always makes me feel more motivated and refreshed, and there are so many positive things about this season. So I thought I'd share just some of them with you:
Flowers are everywhere in Spring, and it just makes me so happy! Daffodils growing by the sides of the roads just make places so much nicer to look at whilst driving. I love having flowers in my home too, and I feel like it's more of a Spring thing to have fresh flowers at home.
LIGHTER, BRIGHTER & LONGER DAYS
There's nothing more depressing than going to work in the morning when it's dark and coming home in the evening when it's dark! During the winter, I feel like I barely see the sunlight. When the days are lighter and brighter, it just makes me feel so much better. Plus, the days feel longer as the light lasts longer, meaning I tend to get more done!
Do I really need an excuse to eat more chocolate? Nope, but it's nice to have one anyway!
There's just something about Spring cleaning and decluttering my home for a new season that I love. It just makes everywhere feel so fresh and clean!
(SLIGHTLY) WARMER WEATHER
I mean, I'm writing this post just as we had a gloriously warm and sunny day last weekend and then snow for two days afterwards 😂 I love when the weather is slightly warmer and you don't need to pile on a Winter coat, hat and gloves just to step outside your front door!
SPENDING MORE TIME OUTDOORS
As previously mentioned, the warmer weather means more time outdoors as you're less likely to catch pneumonia. I love going out for walks and exploring places in Spring/Summer when the weather is nicer.
Pastel colours are everywhere during Spring! Whether it's cute dresses or Easter eggs, I'm all for it.
